The terrace of La Folie Douce Méribel-Courchevel faces due south and catches sun for much of the day, which fits the venue's own description of itself as a 'French Riviera at altitude'. It sits in the Méribel and Courchevel ski area in the French Alps, and it is where I send guests who want apres-ski with real atmosphere.
The mood is festive. Live shows, dance, music and food come together, and the venue runs daily parties under the slogan 'We party every day'. Large crowds gather here, and the aim is a convivial, shared experience. Guest DJs perform, for example the Brazilian DJ Marina Diniz, and the venue's website lists upcoming shows and scheduled concerts, so you can plan your afternoon in advance.
The Kappa Mountain Tour 2026 stops here, in its third edition, and the 2025 tour was held here too. Kasnodar Caviar has been presented on site as a special culinary experience. The partnership with Skiif offers a ski GPS experience, and the partnership with Carlsberg is presented as an ecological initiative.
There is also a Folie Shop with fashion items, and Kappa supplies the outfits worn by the team. The 2026 season closes here on 4 April.
