LAKE COMO
Allow me to introduce Lake Como, which Italians call Lago di Como or simply Lario. It is the third largest lake in Italy, after Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore, and it lies at the foot of the Alps. I know of few places in the country with scenery as romantic and picturesque as this, and I am pleased to welcome you to it on behalf of #JAMES.
The shape of the lake is worth a moment of your attention. Seen on a map, it forms an inverted Y, and that outline has a natural origin. It comes from the melting of glaciers, combined with the erosive action of the river Adda. Together they carved out the two southern branches of the lake. One branch ends in the city of Como, the other in the city of Lecco. In the middle, between the two, lies the famous Bellagio, which I recommend you keep in mind when planning your days on the water.
Lake Como is a destination that rewards a view from above, and this is where I can be of particular service.
