A roof terrace above the medina, with the Atlas Mountains on the horizon and the call to prayer drifting over the rooftops, is the best seat in Marrakech. Most riads offer exactly this, together with a quiet inner courtyard where the day can slow down after the souks. For guests travelling from Switzerland, I find this combination of city life and privacy hard to match with any hotel. At present I have no riads online for Marrakech, so I arrange each stay on request. You send me your dates, the size of your party and your wishes, and I propose a riad that fits. I stay in touch before you travel and throughout your visit, and I take care of the details that make a first trip easier: the arrival from the airport, a table for the evening, a guide for the old town.
