Luxury villa holidays in Zanzibar, Tanzania

Stone Town, with its carved wooden doors and narrow lanes, sits on Unguja, the main island of Zanzibar, and within an hour or so the scene turns to palm-lined beaches and shallow turquoise water. The Swahili coast has its own pace here, shaped by tides, spice markets and the call of the fishing boats at dawn. I do not yet show a fixed selection of villas for Zanzibar. Instead I arrange each stay on request. Send me your travel dates, the size of your party and what you hope to find on the island, be it quiet days by the sea, time in the old town or both, and I will look for a villa that fits. For guests travelling from Switzerland this is a long journey, and I think it deserves careful preparation.
